  • Hollywood Burning

This was 2 miles from my house today.  Luckily the winds were calm and the firefighters got it under control quickly.  If the winds were from the east however, it would have been a different story.  Some folks were hosing the rooftops.  I live at the base of the Hollywood Hills closer to Beverly Hills than Hollywood, but this was still pretty scary.  I can still smell the smoke.  The helicopters were able to put it out quite quickly.  More here.

Thanks to Gary…who had a rough day too, closer to the action!
