My last 100 visitors, yesterday and today. Thanks friends! Wake up Antarctica!

Thanks to Lewis for reminding me what a good movie this was.  This actress is 15 and in the movie she’s singing to her parents who always tell her she’s too fat.  She should be on American Idol!

    ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
“In the recent Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, musher Deborah Bicknell was found on the wrong trail, 18 miles off course. Why can’t women just stop and ask for directions?” — Michael Hinkson, Cooperstown, Pa., writing to syndicated columnist Norman Chad. (The Washington Post)

This is Jennifer’s son Justin.  I told you you’d be on the Internet Justin

I finally installed my beta version of Joost.  They still don’t have a ton of content, but some of what they have is pretty cool.  The first thing I saw was the Christina Aguilera/P Diddy video and the quality was amazing. The other channels weren’t as impressive, but it has potential.  As a beta tester I have 5 invitations that I can give out.  I’ll make them first come first serve, for whoever wants them.  Take a look at the website and the hardware requirements before you decide.  If you want an invitation, send me an email at careygly@gmail.com Again, first come, first served

Tommy & Cole in the “Big City”

Dar and Lisa brought the boys up today to see Meet the Robinsons at the El Capitan.  Afterwards we went to the Kodak Theater, and had lunch.  It was a gorgeous sunny day and the kids had a blast.  Luckily the Hollywood sign was still standing and flame free.  All the smoke had cleared away too, though it was pretty smoggy when looking towards downtown LA.  Here are some photos of the kids and a few more of the fire.  I’m also including a coupe of videos I took of Tommy and Andy the other night.  I need to teach them a new joke

  • What beautiful children. What you doing for Easter? Have a happy Easter, Judi

  • That did is a great movie,  i’ve got the Soundtrack CD too – :)

  • Haha if only it were that easy. We will do a retinal scan to see if her response to varying grades of optical stimulus will render appropriate and accurate responses. The same way your eye doctor would it – except much harder. =)

  • LOL, that is so interesting. So you have a camera right there in the operating room and they let you take pictures? I followed the Barbaro story closely and it was so amazing what they did to that poor horse. Sounds like he wasn’t in too much pain though. One can only hope. I have so much respect for you in that you’ve chosen to help animals as your career path. I think many animal lovers wanted to be vets as kids. I had even planned to go to Texas A&M. Unfortunately my brain wasn’t quite adept on the science side, and thus I now reside in the depths of corporate America. I guess it’s not that bad. It has afforded me the opportunity to see every corner of this vast planet and gain a deep respect for other cultures. I guess we are all here for a purpose. I applaud your efforts and thank you for sharing them! Peace.

  • Thanks for the comments! Traveling with family is very important you’re quite lucky to have a such a beautiful family. RYC – I usually have my camera everywhere I go and I get called to photograph specific surgeries that are need to be documented, published, or archived for special interest articles. It’s quite a convenient and unique job since while in school we rarely get to scrub in on specialized procedures and I get to do it at least once a week.

  • wow
I scrolled down and saw a HUGE bug on someone’s face
    was that you?

  • LOL, no, that’s my friend Marcelo. We found that bug and put it on his face while he was sleeping. It was in Brazil…lots of big bugs there!
