Spring Dumplings, Baby Mamas & A Dance-Off
We went to see the movie “Baby Mama” tonight with Tina Fey & Amy Poehler. It wasn’t my first choice, but since I’ve seen pretty much everything else out right now, that’s what we decided on. I was actually very pleasantly surprised. The movie was quite enjoyable. Also, I never reviewed Iron Man on this site, but was I the only one who found the stereotypes of the terrorists a bit disturbing? Other that that, I liked it a lot. Here are some pics from Din Tai Fung and spring in L.A. I’m heading up to Santa Barbara tomorrow after work. Should be a gorgeous weekend. Ciao!
I snapped these in the alleyway of that strip mall next to Din Tai Fung. It kind of reminded me of New York or Hong Kong.

While the arab has become the stereotype for terrorists, i’d say the story line was plausible and on the flip side, when our hero returns to save the day, you also see the loving family side of arab men too, so i wasn’t offended. the tree is beautiful, the food, well, not so – lol. have a great weekend! peace, al
You’re lucky its warm and nice there. It’s like 6 Celcius outside right now … BRRR!!! And omg I love those meat dumplings with the sauce in them , they’re the shizz. Lol @ the blog shy people.

I love the picture of the Empress tree I have one in my front yard. But unfortunately since I pruned it severely this year it is not as full and pretty as this one. Judi

Empress Tree – the “purple trees”, I just LOVE Them! Oh and I want some green beans right now! Snow in Denver a couple days ago, and now sunny finally! ta ta and have a fab weekend in SB.
