T’was the Night Before Fireworks

As I’ve recounted before, I’m not a big fan of the 4th of July (Independence Day in America). This year should be fun though, as I’m spending the night with my cousins. This morning we’ll take the kids to the parade and then we have a cabana rented by the lake for the day. We’ll watch the fireworks, and then I’ll head back up to LA to greet yet another guest at the HC. If any of you Orange County Xangans are going to be at the parade or lake tomorrow, text me. My # is on my Facebook badge to the left.
We took the boys to Chick-fil-A tonight, and then took Tommy to get a birthday present. Here are a few snaps:

I love Chik-fil-A! Instead of giving out horrible plastic toys in their kids meals, they give out CD to help kid learn another language!![IMG_2902 [640x480]](http://x71.xanga.com/002c7a6353533197601273/m152817623.jpg)

Have a safe, happy 4th everyone!

That’s the most tropical-looking Toys R Us I’ve ever seen!
Sounds exciting. I’ll also be in the OC for the 4th of July (Newport). Kind of dreading the massive beach crowds. And how do you always have guests at your place? haha you’re quite popular.
looks like a fun time for kids of all ages! enjoy the fireworks! peace, Al
languages! Great idea!
Laissez les bontemps rouller!
cute snaps! You really enjoy being around kids don’t you!
hahaha – I’m surprised the bouncers didn’t kick you out. You remind me of Tom Hanks in that movie “Big”.
@wherethefishlives - Yeah, I thought it might make an interesting photo.
Bouncers! LOL
@Rm2046 - I know…sometimes this Hotel Careyfornia thing gets taken to a bit of an extreme! Have fun at the beach. I’ll be in Newport next weekend for a 2 year old’s birthday party.
@pukemeister - Happy 4th Al!
@qccan - Have a great holiday!
@MlleRobillard - The good times are indeed rolling! Happy Day!
@Dezinerdreams - Kids? Can’t stand the little rugrats!
@ElusiveWords - I’ve heard that comparison before.
for not liking the fourth you have some good plans to spend the day. :D
cute pics and fun. i especially liked the one w the kid coming thru the tube. that really was scenic for lack of a better word.
Haha awesome piccies!! Yeah, yay for learning another language, nay for getting cheap plastic toys ( I used to be deeply enthralled by them… *guilt* ) . Hah, I wonder if they give you German CD’s! I’m learning German now through some of my friends!! :D
Ich Will Nach Deutschland Gehen
Ich Liebe Dich Auch! :)
Die Handtasche Muss Lebedig Sein =D
Hah happy 4th of July!!
Entertain the brain – holy guacamole! I, on the other hand, did eat Sweet Corn in Iowa on the 4th of July, contrary to nationwide rumors the corn was imported from Flordida! ta ta for now :)
“Twas the night before fireworks;” where’s the rest of the story? I was waiting for the line – “gunshots were fired in the air without care.”
Walter
@razzlebash - LOL, I try to make the best out of every situation
Thanks. Hope yours was happy.
@Loltothepower - Oh Jin, you never cease to amaze me. Your German is getting great! But it’s Louis Vuitton, and I want you to come to the US instead!
@zounds13 - Yeah I know Walter, I’m lame. I was going to finish the poem, but I would not have even gotten my 3 hours of sleep then. To satisfy your corny poetry craving, go to:

It’s not fair that 30-something kids aren’t allowed in there! I think we love it more than they do sometimes.
