Friday Photoblog
Update: I got my car back (again). Next week will be the 5 month anniversary of the accident. Here’s hoping that I won’t be paying any more visits to the Honda of Hollywood Body Shop. Turns out, it was the key. It needed a new microchip. It also finally passed the electrical portion of the smog test. I drove down to Irvine yesterday, and it drove fine. I also went to have a delicious spaghetti dinner with my aunt and uncle:
Thank you to Darron at Honda of Hollywood for doing the right thing, and to Peter for being a nice guy throughout this whole thing. It’s a good thing I got the car back when I did, because Claudio and Ryan came back from Brazil on Wednesday and took their car back:
I took this with my cell phone. They look pretty good for just having gotten off a 20 hour flight! At lunch, we were sitting next to these two drunk Korean girls who were drinking Champagne (at noon on a Wednesday) and talking about how the “chinks” and “gooks” stole the Olympics from the Americans. (??WTF??) We couldn’t believe our ears. I actually took a video of them secretly with my phone, but it’s too vile to post. They were trashed, racist bitches.Then Lisa and Joel came back from Hawaii the same day, and I headed back to the airport with their car! Before that, Vivek and I went to Indian Sweet & Spices, and saw this on the way there:
Only in Hollywood. LOL.So now the dogs are gone, and I miss them a lot. How could you not love a face like this:Have a good weekend everyone. Here are the rest of the photos from the last couple of days!
A taste of home!

Woo…spaghetti and meat balls!! *drool*
I’m still curious about your secret video though….
well, it’s good that all is happy in honda land once again – let’s hope it stays that way. it is so sad that so much bigotry and hatred still exists throught our country and our world. will we ever learn? not in our lifetimes to be sure. and with your active life, i doubt you’ll have much time to devote to missing dogs – and it seems they return quite frequently anyhow. that motorcycle pic is sure scary – lol i’ve been doing a lot of leftover spagetti myself – always better as left overs – lol, have a great weekend. peace, Al
Are those meatballs or sausages? I’m sure the car will be fine now. Just watch for any alignment problems (ie if you notice the car wants to pull to one side) or unusual tire wear. (again, I’m pretending to know what I’m talking about).
mmmm, spaghetti!
@curry69curry - I have to get a new decoder for 3gp files to avi or mpg. Better yet, you should come to a movie or something with us this weekend and I’ll show you. :)
@pukemeister - You’re certainly right about all that…especially the leftover spaghetti part!
@ElusiveWords - You’re funny, but actually you’re saying the same thing that people “in the know” are saying…so good job! Oh, and yes, it was Italian sausage!
@MlleRobillard - My aunt’s a great Italian cook! :)

the picture of the dog with a ball was so cute, and almost made me cry to think he’s gone now. i’m going to miss him too.
that cell phone picture really turned out terrific. the guy on the left looked similar to sting.
yeah those sloshed females at noon Hmm. wonder how often they do that.
That spaghetti looks delicious!
@razzlebash - LOL, he’s not gone…he’s just back at my cousin’s house
He’ll be back!
@Dezinerdreams - There’s some left over in the fridge. Go grab it! You’re closer than I am!
Well as long as you take a nap on the airplane, you should look fine :) Such dumb Korean girls. I’d have said something >.<
@Socalj714 - You know how drunks are Jayson….not easy or worthwhile to reason with. We just left. Hey, if you’re around now, call me. 310-623-7715.
