John “McClain” as the “Alaska Daily News” called him, must really not want to be president. (See below, just above the second biggest story in the state of Alaska today, “Grizzly Attacks Woman in Tent“**. Incidentally, John McCain is 22 year older than the state of Alaska, LOL.) Call me a sexist pig, but I don’t think most of America is ready for a woman who’s still breastfeeding her four month old baby, to be a heartbeat away from the presidency, should McCain (who will be 76 if he makes it to the end of a first term) kick the bucket. Sarah Palin and her five kids, Trig, Track, Bristol, Willow and Piper (I kid you not. Someone’s been watching Charmed & Buffy too much) is the best thing that ever happened to Barack Obama. Oh, and she pronounces “nuclear” just like George W. Bush (nucular). As a former beauty queen, I wonder if Sarah Palin knows Miss Teen South Carolina? Maybe they could compare notes on “The Iraq”. “US Americans”, get ready for President Obama!
From the Alaska Daily News before they corrected their website.
**Too bad Sarah wasn’t there, she’s an avid hunter and would have shot the grizzly! What kind of governor are you Sarah?? Leaving innocent women to fend off bears while you travel to the mainland to hob nob with the Washington elite!
Governor Palin even checked into a hotel last week under the name “Upton”, the same unfortunate name as Miss Teen South Carolina. Coincidence??
Oh gosh this video is just fantastic…If I could vote in the US, well you’d have my vote…for sure!
hey, you got my vote too! peace, Al
i want you impeached already.
From chaperon to president? hahahaha… but I promised my vote to Jason already.
I second generasianx. You should be impeached already!
finally someone we can really get behind. you show them how it’s done. future generations can learn from this. they can use the video footage of your campaign as a training video. it will bring the 2 parties together and will be the first in history to have 100% of the votes for the same candidate. go carey go. ..
@MlleRobillard - You just became a possible VP candidate! @gasdoc73 - LOL, good to know I have Italian support! @pukemeister - Michigan is a key state! @generasianx - VICIOUS!! @ElusiveWords - Which Jason!!?? @Dezinerdreams - You are now out of the running as my VP!! @razzlebash - Finally, someone who understands that this campaign isn’t about me, it’s about the American people! LOL :)
the plot thickens! – i still figure you can carry MI
If you want to talk about the difference between the sexes, breastfeeding is a good place to start. Don’t tell the NeoCons who will never have my vote, but I would propose that a breastfeeding mother would be a much more rational president than any man.
The thing that pisses me off about McCain choosing a woman running-mate is how purely calculated it is. They don’t really care about having a woman in the executive office. They’re just pandering for votes, riding Hillary’s wave. It’s disgusting. And while you may be right that empirically America is not ready for such a thing, existing McCain voters are not going to switch to Obama, yet many former Hillary Clinton voters are probably going to switch to McCain now. My reaction is the exact opposite from yours, in that I think this move has greatly increased the possibility of McCain winning.
That video is funny! Best of luck in your presidential bid ;)
@sethrocker - I was wondering what your reaction to that would be Mr. La Leche league! I’m still on the phone, will call you in a few.
I saw you on my footprints and came here to meet you. Someone probably sent you there thinking I was being anti-gay with my Adam and Eve video. NOT!! A gay friend sent that to me. I should have made that plain. I have no prejudices of any kind…except fools:) I’ve added more since you were there, but it’s sexual in nature. Even though I’m a woman, I strongly agree with your message about McCain’s running mate.
@fratmom - Thanks for stopping by. I think I saw your blog because someone on my subscription list recommended it, so that’s why I visited. Have a great weekend!
John McClain, from Die Hard?
Cute video!! Who is your VP pick?
Carey: Clearly the Alaska Daily News has some grammar issues with their writers. Let us remember people vote for the President not the Vice-President. People in America will not vote for Barack, he is an elitist not in touch with the common man. Friends don’t let friends vote Democrat.
@generasianx - He’d probably be better! @stevew918 - You, if you play your cards right! @Joel - LOL, we’ll see my friend. Even my boss, who’s as Republican and Christian as they come, sent this today:
I knew we would get to this eventually. I thought Obama did a very elegant speech. Delivered with perfection. He definitely is qualified to run for the office of President. I think he is a top notch human being. He has volunteered and worked in places most people should try to do to make the world a better place. That said, I cannot vote for him. There is no way he is going to pay for everything he wants with taxing businesses. That is a huge pipe dream. And is it his intent to unionize the world and keep companies losing millions from leaving the U.S.? There are no spending cuts and nothing in there that allows for anything but the federal government to save people and offer assistance (except his call for young people that if you volunteer your time, he’ll make sure you have a college education). The man and the party is basically a socialist. The speech last night was a laundry list of “fair share” tax increases. So that leaves me with no vote or a vote for McCain. (because Ron Paul is not on my short list of possibility). AAAAARRRGH! Given that California is going to vote for Obama anyway, my vote won’t count so I really don’t have to vote for president. So maybe I vote with a true clear vision on defeating the majority of tax hike propositions that are going to be on the ballot. However, I guess I could make a difference by trading my vote (I’ll vote for Obama here in exchange for a McCain vote in a swing state).
yes for Carey! (:
but you have yet to select a running mate! who’s it gonna be? just be careful – our political system can only take so many shocks! more peace, Al
Why don’t you have a means to receive private messages? Thanks for the birthday wishes:)
This race has just gotten very interesting, if it wasn’t already.
Here here! I read this haha! Carey anthony 08 obviously! I pronounce nuclear as ‘bad’.
I have seen the child of Sarah Palin, it’s an adorable baby, even though her child suffers of that common disorder called down syndrome the kid is so cute, I can put in her shoes and know what that is like, because I happens to me too. I read magazines about that disorder all the time, what I don’t know is why one of those magazines have a picture of a Cheap Viagra tablet in its cover.
