And the Oscar for Best Over Acting Goes To…
Every year at my company we do a Christmas video for our customers, and every year I ham it up pretty bad! This year’s theme was a financial bailout for Santa, who was going to have to cancel Christmas because of all of the debt he had racked up from financing his toy factories with subprime loans, (even using his reindeer as collateral!).My character, Neb Neezer a modern financial expert, pioneered the concept of Toy Factory Obligations (similar to the Collateralized Debt Obligations which caused the real financial meltdown). In this short scene from the video, I’m interviewed by a Larry King-like, Chris Moss.
Watch for my wink and nod to Sarah “the AntiChrist” Palin, and my artful shoe dodging at the end! (By the way, did you hear Levi’s mother is dealing meth!? I still think they should name that boor bastard “Tweaker”! Do you still want Bristol married in to that white trash family Sarah, you moron?) Anyway, this is just a small portion of the video, but in the end our company saves Christmas!

Ok – that was VERY cute and funny! Love it! It appears that Briston is marrying into a fine way of life. It’s a good thing her honey didn’t get caught dealing too – that would have made for a fine headline.
Very adorable! Gotta save Santa right?
congratulations. You have made history. Bwahahahaha!
@msmusic74 - Oh, just wait. I don’t think we’ve heard the last from Levi Johnston! Although I bet 2:1 they never get married…and if they do, that means she’s running for president next time. God help us all!
@Jade_Orchid - Absolutely! Christmas depends on it
@ZSA_MD - I do what I can. LOL Thanks
hi neb,
thanks for the scoop straight up. you know i was always afraid of santa. first i was a very shy girl as a chld, then my mother told me not to talk to strangers. but every christmas she’d take me to a hardware store where there was a santa sitting in a chair. she made me sit on the lap of a strange man and talk to a strange man. i was always scared. and i never liked the candy cane he gave me when i was finished. and i knew he wouldn’t give me what i wanted. what was that all about?
It is so funny, Carey! The shoe missed, :(. Merry Christmas! Please save Santa, I have been a good boy this year and waiting for him to come down the chiminey. :)
Carey! This is so funny! I want to see the whole video mister! And you won that Oscar hands down! hehehe
hahaha that was pretty funny.. not sure how you did the newsroom backgrounds and stuff but it was cool! haha maybe a news production team in a few years’ time? (;
That is hilarious! Well done.
Was that a size 10?
ya…better stick to your day job. :)
OMG – and you’re already in Hollywood! Brad Pitt, eat your heart out! peace, Al
Why can’t anyone throw a shoe accurately?
How many practice runs at that shoe throwing/ducking? nice job! Fabulous segment and I’ll hope you get lots of YouTube hits on that, perhaps an acting nomination in all of your stockings as well this season!
carey, you’re a star!
happy holidays!
@razzlebash - LOL, I guess there are a few creepy Santa’s out there! Glad to do my part!
@stevew918 - You know, he sees you when you’re sleeping….
@Dezinerdreams - Thanks Vivek. I sent you the whole cringe worthy video. As you can see, I’m not the only ham!
@ieatworksleep - We actually used a green screen for the backgrounds. We have a pretty good graphics guy, and he designed them. Then it’s just a matter of sitting in front of the green screen and reading our lines. It was kind of tough, because we didn’t film the “east coast” guy’s lines with mine…that’s why my timing is a little off…among other things that are a lot off. LOL.
@sethrocker - Thanks Seth! Glad you liked it. Hope Hannah enjoys the whole video. I’m sure she’ll like the elf!
@Kurt - Is this German Kurt??? GLY my friend!!!!
@generasianx - Yeah, I think I’ll leave the film making to you Tony!!
@pukemeister - I’m quite sure that’s the first time my name and Brad Pitt’s have been mentioned in the same sentence, let alone blog. LOL. Thanks!
@ElusiveWords - As much as I loathe George Bush (and apparently loathe Sarah Palin even more), I have to give him credit. He’s an artful dodger!
@pamfitz99 - Well, we did three practices, not on film, but believe it or not, that was the first take! Honest. “Nailed it!” As you know, we filmed the video 2 weeks ago. Then when George Bush got the shoe thrown at him, we knew we had to make a “Director’s Cut” with the new scene!
@Renatojr3 - Thanks Jon. Looks like you guys had a nice Christmas party. The dog’s adorable.
Hahahha that was great! :D
That comic at the end made me lol as well :D
@torontobabyblue - Thanks! I’ll be sure to mention you in my Oscar acceptance speech!
LOL…You are funny, Carey!
@me_zephyrs - Yeah, except this time they’re laughing at me…not with me. LOL
j/k. Thanks. Merry Christmas.
