Christmas with Spike, Lucky & Bad Shrimp
The two big hits with the kids on Christmas morning, were Spike the Dinosaur and Lucky the Puppy who responds to a multitude of spoken commands, as this video will attest:
Our Christmas was better than little Bobby’s: (See warning below.)
After the presents and a yummy Christmas lunch, I headed home to meet Claudio & Chazz for a movie. We saw Valkyrie and both really enjoyed it. Here are a few Christmas pictures. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Peace!
Lisa found the perfect stocking stuffer for me!! Among my other notable gifts were, an Earthquake Preparedness Kit, Tempur Pedic slippers, Mamma Mia, a Pendleton shirt, “Be the Pack Leader” by Cesar Milan and a Facial Spa!! (These looks aren’t all natural!)As a followup to Bachelor Blues & Puppy Love, Claudio found some year old shrimp in the freezer today while making breakfast. It reminded me of an old Christmas classic by George Michael & Wham:Last Christmas
Last Christmas, I gave you some shrimp,
The very next year,
I threw it away.
This year,
To save me from salmonella,
I’m cleaning out your freezer.

That is THE perfect gift for you! lol
I guess you can tell us things we don’t know about her then…HOHOHO….being a kid is so lucky, always gets the big size X’mas gifts MOST of the time!
merry christmas
i saw that dino in a demonstration display at Toys R Us and I just loved the reaction of the little kids when they saw it in action – bout the same as your pix show – i’d just be afraid the novelty would wear off quick given the price. but given the load of gifts under that tree, it’s a wonder Santa was able to make it all the way around the world after dropping that load! nothing better than kids and Christmas. peace, Al
Beautiful family and great pictures. Mohamed and I went and saw Valkyrie on Christmas day also. Powerful.
@Dezinerdreams - Yeah, in the bipartisan spirit of Christmas she gave it to me even after I gave her an Obama book for her birthday!
@curry69curry - I know right? I would have loved that dino as a kid!
@XsW3eTfLiP1nOyX - Merry Christmas to you too. I hope your new year is happy.
@pukemeister - Yeah, you’d never know there was a recession under that tree! Admittedly most of those presents were from “Nana”. Something I’m sure you can appreciate!
@ZSA_MD - It was a powerful movie. I had heard some bad things about Tom Cruise’s performance, but I actually enjoyed it (and I’m not a fan.)
oh my. loli always thought that dinosaur was scary every time i passed by it at target. id idntknow it was THAT animated… omg scary its to realistic haha make sure it doesnt eat a mario toadstool and get enlarged lol
Hi Carey!I finally took a moment and went to your website. WOW you look
like you are very happy, have a great life and are very loved! There
was so much to see! I tried to send you a message on it but am very
technology disabled. I did sign up for face book…only went on it
once…he kids said I’m a nerd and haven’t been back on it since. Anyways I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your website and seeing/hearing you…you are the same as I remember. Do you get back to Illinois much? If you do, please stop in. I would love to chat with you and catch up. Love, Nancy
How utterly precious. =)

Happy Holiday, Buddy.

beautiful christmas photos. and great video. that dinosaur was super fantastic. the real dog was cute and the mechanical one was cute and life-like.
poor bobby needs new parents for next christmas.
just reading the words to last christmas and shrimp i could hear the tune come out of the lyrics hehe. glad the shrimp was thrown away the very next year. i’d hate to think if it was kept longer than that, like a year and a day.
@Sc12EeN17aM3 - I know! Isn’t that dinosaur just the craziest. I should have got you one for Christmas. I bet you would love it Jad!
