Saturday Night Lights
The day started with my aunt and I heading to LAX to meet Claudio and his brother, sister and sister in law, and their two kids, and Chazz of course. Then we picked up my Dad at the airport and headed downtown to Philippes for lunch. Dinner for 17 was at Buca di Beppo and was followed by Joel’s college (American) football game. My brother and his girlfriend and her two kids checked into The Hotel Careyfornia after that, and today they headed down to Disneyland. I had other plans, and am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed for the first time in nearly a month. It has been a very long past 3 weeks, and I’m exhausted! My Dad is going to stay with my aunt for a few days, and he’ll come back up to The HC on Thursday after we celebrate Lisa’s birthday. I’m looking forward to a little rest and relaxation until then. Have a good week!

<3 family reunions! what do you mean pull down her shirt?? lol
i can’t say it enough – you’re very blessed to have such a great family and extended family in your life! not too many fans there for a college game – JC? if you worked the sidelines of HS football games you’d always have someone standing next to you to tell you what should have happened on the last play – lol. peace, Al
You don’t sleep in your own bed when you have guests stay over??
Get some rest Carey – don’t over extend yourself even though you have the best intentions.
We have such an awesome family! I do know how lucky I am!!! xoxoxo
Nice to get to see you and your dad…hmmm…..I can see the resemblances in between! Have a nice week!
Home run? lol
Great family photos! It’s wonderful to see you guys getting together often. I do hope you got some rest because The HC (an awesome abbreviation btw) sounds exhausting to run.
Thanks for the birthday wishes too!!
dinner for 17? wow you must of taken like a good portion of the restaurant lol
Nice picts as usual. Your dad looks like a happy camper
@Shades_of_Athena - LOL, I’m a freak, I don’t like seeing women’s backs! :)
@pukemeister - It was like 65 that night. Too cold for fans to go to a football game I guess! :)
@Rm2046 - Nope, I always sleep in my office when I have guests, just because I keep odd hours. I’m usually up until 3 or 4 and wake up at 7. Plus there’s a private bathroom in my bedroom, so I think it’s better for guests.
@ElusiveWords - Rest? I’ll sleep when I’m dead! :)
@wittielisa - Love you Lisa!
@CurryPuffy - Yep, luckily I got my Dad’s hair…unlike my brother. :) Thanks!
@Olallie - I’m glad someone got my home run joke :) Glad too that you had such a great birthday!
@Sc12EeN17aM3 - Unfortunately, we didn’t get the Pope Room :(
@straw_hut - Thanks! We’re having a nice visit.
@CareyGLY - i’ll take all that kinda cold i can get!
what’s a filipino breakfast like?
don’t know what pancit and balut are.
@rudyhou - It’s yummy. Fried rice, pancit and eggs (NOT Balut!!)
@rudyhou - added links
oohhh…. i see. NOW i know. don’t mind the pancit, but balut?? yikes!
“home run” cracked me up. okay i admit it, i laughed at “tight ends” too. also look at the woman in the maroon jacket behind your dad. what the heck, is she sleeping?
@curtainsopen - LOL…it wasn’t that exciting of a game until it went into overtime and they really started scoring, so yeah, she probably was sleeping
beautiful family pics :D
@Got_Takoyaki - Thanks!
