Got Crabs?
I'm a total wuss when it comes to anything remotely athletic or dirty as this video will attest. We did have a great time, and though the crabs weren't really biting, the dinner was delicious!
Not quite heaven, but you get the idea!
Talk about a fish out of water!

Eva could beat me in anything. LOL
This little seal kept eyeing us (or was it the Loch Ness monster??)
Taylor made a surprise visit this morning. I stood on a rock to prove I was still taller than him.

It is kind of obvious that you did not seem to enjoy the crabbing part. lol. Hope you enjoy your role as the video guy and the crab-taster. Fresh crab is very yummy.
The music made the video even more interesting and OMG! Those crabs are huge!

that was fabulous carey. and you did good. i couldn't have touched it with my bare hand. i would have wanted to use a stick or pen or something. that was super how you all caught them and cooked them and ate them. that is really something.
The little mermaid??? LOL! After listening to the music and watching the video that is all I could think about!
It looked fun to me but you are right, it didn't look like you were too into the crabbing thing. It also looked really yummie!
Just one last thing, were they still alive when you stuck them in the pot of boiling water? That just seems so mean to me! Is there a reason people don't kill them first?

Is crabbing a hunter or gatherer responsibility? Either way, its certainly more difficult when those little buggers are smarter and faster than us. Good thing we're bigger.
