Golden Retrievers, Globes & Labs (Plus a Drumdog and an Elephant!)
It’s a big day here in Hollywood, as the Golden Globes start in about 3 hours. Santa Monica Blvd. is jammed with limos already. To celebrate, I took Chazz to the dog park where he met what could have been the Golden Globes mascot, a Golden Retriever mix named Brockton. (Here’s a video of them playing if you’re interested.) Yesterday, he had a playdate with his friend Weho, and also met one of the stand-ins from Marley & Me!

Can’t we play some more??Tonight we’re heading to Seth & Jessica’s to watch the awards. Most of the parties are at the Beverly Hilton and it’s hard to get to, so I doubt I’ll get any pictures tonight after the ceremony. Here are my predictions:

Many nice aspects of doggies. All cuties!! I nominate both videos for the Golden Bowl awards tonight. I predict the Best Musical Video Award goes to “Drumdog Millionare”, and Best Drama Video Award goes to the “Safari Love Story”. :)
Loved this post Carey! Made my eyes misty when I saw the story of the best friends. Lucky dog and lucky elephant. the drumdog millionaire made me jump off my seat. It was great.
That was a nice video of the dog and the elephant – that’s almost unbelievable. I had a Great Dane once as a pet / watchdog. Oh man.. she was really good.

My friend told me today that my blog should be called, “Kids, Dogs, Sunsets & Sarah Palin”. LOL 
I’m sure it’s boring to most people but it’s what makes me happy! (Opening people’s eyes to what an evil bitch Sarah Palin is really makes me happy!)

i saw an episode of 30 rock that had a hiliarous situationf for steve martin. he played a man pretending to have that phobia for leaving the house to cover up for the fact that he was under house arrest. i still laugh about it.

Oh good Lord – that was awesome! I always love to see the loving bonds between animals and also between a human and an animal. This blog is an example where friendship and love knows no barriers!

no, but i live with one. it’s my sister’s. the dog’s name is Baby, she’s 3 years old mixed-breed and she’s freakin’ adorable. it’s impossible to be mad at her. you can view a couple of her pics on one of my photo albums titled “my photos”. i believe you’ve made a comment on one of the pics before.
