Eating Wind and Collecting Ketchup Bottles
Five years ago this very second I was in the hospital in Mission Viejo filming the first video below of a crying baby boy who would come to call me “Ca-wee”. Five years later, little Andy is the light of all of our lives. In ten years I’m going to show him the second video and wonder if he still has his soap and ketchup bottle collection? Let’s hope so! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY!! xoxo
Andy, minutes after birth and 5 years later “eating wind”!For his birthday, Lisa hired “The Lizard Wizard” and Andy’s dream of holding an alligator came true. He even liked the tarantula and the cockroach (unlike some of the kids…and adults)! What a brave little boy!

Andy is, without a doubt, a real treasure – how sad that they grow up – but given the love he’s surrounded with, i’m sure he will become a wonderful adult. as i said in my post the other day, his generation will be the most documented of any before him and you’re all over that! – lol. peace, Al

Thank you so much for this beautiful & wonderful post. Andy has been looking at it all morning. He loves watching the videos of himself. I’m so glad you were there at his birth & every other moment of his life. I can see why you are his favorite cousin. Your mine, too! We love you bunches!!

@wittielisa - There’s that one point in the video about Grandpa where I ask him if he knows where Grandpa is and his eyes open wide and he says “No”. That’s my favorite part. His expression and his wonder are priceless.
Wow… if someone put a tarantula on my head I would be scared out of my mind. Andy has more guts than I do!

We have alligators/crocodiles farms around here – terrifying creatures aren’t they?? Andy is such an amazing kid!

Burmese Pythons not such a hit in the Everglades where some Floridians dumped their unwanted overgrown pets that have breeded out of control and are taking on alligators and smaller living prey. Looks like a wonderful birthday party!
